This image is part of my mirror project, where I attempted to use a mirror as a prop for a portrait to meet one of the category with my photography club year end photo contest. In this case, the category was “Three”. This image is a composite from three images. The inner image is one of the subject hanging the mirror. The second image is the peaking image used in the other two composite photos that are part of this photographic set. The other image is the reflection with satisfaction by the subject on the mounted image. The subject was softened using the Ortan Effect to place focus on the mounted mirror. The second secret was to use Photoshop’s rectangular marquee tool, then to layer via cut. That new layer was moved to a new file to determine the image size to size a copy of the image to a similar size of the cut layer. This process was repeated one other time for the inner most image.
